Boho espresso

Saturday 15 December 2012

Why would you eat at any restaurant or cafe twice in Perth?  Every time I walked down town I discovered a new place to eat or drink, a place that inspired me and made me stop to take it all in.

Black, grey, white and yellow are colours loved by graphic designers but to this date I had not come across a cafe that used this colour scheme- Perth changed that.  The discovery of Boho Espresso is a colour palette lovers dream come true!

Boho Espresso is located near the Esplanade at Scarborough (a.k.a Scabs by the locals).

Usually I'd go to an espresso cafe to purchase a coffee to go or perhaps take a seat and read a book over several coffees.  When you step inside Boho Espresso and see all the fresh produce crates lined up in front of a fridge filled with gourmet sandwiches, one tends to stray from a coffee and opt for a freshly squeezed juice or a deliciously refreshing smoothie (with that much fruit around it's got to be healthy right?!).

The outdoor tables are made of what seams to be old closets that still have the coat hanger rack mounted to them and then there's skateboard wheels on the side of them.  And I am pretty sure the chairs are the school chairs that were around when I was in primary school- oh the memories!!

Vintage lamps, light shades and bell jars to display food make this my kind of cafe, not to mention the beautiful beach mural displayed inside.  Boho Espresso is the place to go to feel recharged and energised after a surf at the beach or the place to grab a healthy beverage before taking a meditative stroll on the gorgeous white sand.
